Location
Luiss University is located in the heart of Rome, across its campuses in the lively Parioli and Trieste districts. The EMAC 2027 Conference will take place at the University’s main campus on Viale Romania 32. This historic estate is a portion of a much larger property that belonged to Count de Heritz who combined several suburban villas in the second half of the 19th century. Following an extensive restoration, the campus has been hosting teaching and research activities since 2007.
The campus blends architectural heritage with modern learning and research spaces, offering state-of-the-art facilities alongside collaborative environments such as the Luiss Language Café, Luiss Loft, and Radio Luiss. Easily accessible from Rome’s city center, the campus provides an ideal setting for academic exchange while allowing delegates to experience the rich cultural, historical, and culinary heritage of the Eternal City.
Reflecting the University’s commitment to environmental responsibility, the Viale Romania campus has been recognized among Italy’s most sustainable university campuses, thanks to its green spaces, sustainable mobility initiatives, energy-efficient infrastructure, and ongoing investments in environmental and social sustainability. In the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2025, Luiss ranked 12th globally and 2nd in Italy, and achieved 1st place worldwide in the Energy and Climate Change category. This commitment complements Luiss’s broader mission to promote innovation, responsible leadership, and positive societal impact.
